Couple more half punnets and a few assorted Raspberries from the plot this week including some of the Purple ones.
Noticed that one of the compost bins has a large ants nest in which will be a problem down the line as the bins need to be moved at some point to make way for a pond.
Posting these updates on the flowers in the hanging baskets and containers so that Lisa has a reference for next years!
Had to replace the 6 foot canes with 8 foot ones as the tomato plants were taller than them. Re-arranged the plants to try and create a little more space but have to say its pretty cramped in there! More Read More …

Picked a few off the plot over the last week or so but the first proper bunch picked by Lisa this afternoon. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
Second Nematode application deployed, all raised beds cleared of weeds, brassicas thinned out, all potato bins topped up and fed. Broad Beans tied up, replacement beans and peas planted for ones that slugs decimated and a few other jobs too. Read More …
